Where Your Money Goes

Marylanders should know what happens to their hard-earned tax dollars. To the right are detailed reports which document state expenditures on a wide range of projects and programs. In shining a light on where your money goes, please then go to the What Your Money Does page to find out the return on your investment.

Current Maryland Expenditures: Allows citizens to view all Maryland government spending by category for the current fiscal year.

Detailed Tax Expenditure Reports: Reports outlining how your tax dollars were spent.

Board of Public Works Agenda Summaries: The Board of Public Works is responsible for reviewing and approving capital projects, procurement contracts, and the acquisition, use and transfer of State assets.

Maryland Funding Accountability: Allows citizens to view summary information on payments made to vendors that received $25,000 or more for the respective fiscal year.
